AI Article Generation

Overview

AI Article Generation lets you create high-quality, SEO-optimized articles using artificial intelligence and push them directly to any of your connected WordPress sites as drafts. You control the topic, tone, length, keywords, and quality level, and the AI handles the writing.

Articles are generated by leading AI providers and delivered ready to review, edit, and publish from your WordPress editor.

Requirements

• An active RakuWP subscription with AI credits available (plan credits or purchased credits).
• The Remote service must be enabled on the target WordPress site so the panel can push the generated article as a draft.

Getting Started

1. Log in to your RakuWP panel and navigate to the AI section from the main menu.
2. The AI dashboard shows your current credit balance (plan credits and purchased credits) and a log of previous generations.
3. Click Generate Article to begin a new generation.

Generation Modes

There are two ways to generate an article:

One-Step Generation

The AI generates the complete article in a single step. You fill in the generation settings, review the prompt, confirm, and receive the finished article. This is the fastest approach and works well when you have a clear topic in mind.

Outline Generator (Two-Step)

The AI first generates an article structure (outline) with proposed headlines and sections. You can review, edit, reorder, or remove sections before the AI writes the full article based on the approved structure. This gives you more control over the article's organization.

Generation Settings

Both generation modes share the same settings form. Here is what each option does:

Site Selection

Choose which WordPress site will receive the generated article. Only sites with the Remote service enabled appear in the dropdown. The article will be pushed as a draft to this site.

Topic

Describe what the article should be about. Be as specific as possible for better results. The topic must be between 28 and 400 characters long.

Word Count

Set the target length for the article. You can request articles between 300 and 2,500 words. Longer articles cost more credits.

Quality Level

Choose the AI quality tier for generation:

Higher quality levels use more advanced AI roles and produce more polished content.

Tone

Select up to 3 tones that define the writing style. Available tones:

• Informative: Clear, fact-based writing
• Formal: Professional and structured
• Informal: Casual and conversational
• Persuasive: Convincing and action-oriented
• Narrative: Story-driven approach
• Descriptive: Rich in detail and imagery
• Analytical: Data-focused and logical
• Emotional: Evokes feelings and empathy
• Humorous: Light-hearted and witty
• Inspirational: Motivating and uplifting

Reference URLs

Provide up to 10 URLs for the AI to research before writing. The AI will analyze the content of these pages and use them as reference material to produce a more informed and accurate article.

SEO Keywords

Enter up to 3 keywords that the AI should naturally incorporate throughout the article. These keywords will be woven into headings, paragraphs, and meta descriptions to improve search engine visibility.

Forbidden Words

Specify up to 3 words or phrases that the AI must avoid using in the generated content. This is useful for excluding competitor brand names, overused terms, or words that don't fit your brand voice.

Author Imitation

Select a WordPress author from your site to have the AI mimic their writing style. The AI will analyze previously published posts by that author and adapt its tone, vocabulary, and sentence structure accordingly.

Bold Text

Toggle whether the AI should use bold formatting (<strong> tags) to emphasize key points in the article.

External Links

Toggle whether the AI should include relevant external links in the article content.

Language

Choose the language for the generated article: English, Spanish, or French. The AI will write the entire article, including headings and meta description, in the selected language.

Extra Instructions

Add any additional instructions for the AI, up to 1,000 characters. Use this field for special requirements such as specific formatting rules, points to emphasize, sections to include, or any other guidance.

One-Step Flow

1. Select One-Step Generation as the mode.
2. Fill in all the generation settings described above.
3. Click Preview Prompt to see the exact prompt that will be sent to the AI. Review it to make sure your instructions are clear.
4. Click Generate and confirm the credit cost.
5. Wait while the AI generates your article. This typically takes 30 to 90 seconds depending on the article length and quality level.
6. The results editor opens with the generated headline, meta description, and full article content.

Outline Generator Flow

1. Select Outline Generator as the mode.
2. Fill in the generation settings.
3. Click Generate Outline and confirm the credit cost (5 credits for the structure).
4. Review the proposed article structure: a list of headlines with brief descriptions of what each section will cover.
5. Edit the structure as needed:
   • Rewrite or adjust headlines
   • Edit section descriptions
   • Remove sections you don't want
   • Reorder sections by dragging them
6. When satisfied with the structure, click Generate Full Article to proceed. The 5 credits spent on the outline are refunded and the full article credit cost applies instead.
7. The AI writes the complete article following your approved structure.
8. The results editor opens for final review and editing.

Results Editor

After generation completes, the results editor lets you fine-tune the article before publishing:

• Headline: Edit the article title.
• Meta Description: Review and adjust the SEO meta description.
• Content: Edit the full article text, add or remove sections, fix phrasing, and make any changes you need.

When you are satisfied with the result, click Publish to WordPress to push the article to your selected site as a draft. You can then open it in your WordPress editor for final review before making it live.

Prompt Preview

Before confirming any generation, you can preview the exact prompt that will be sent to the AI. This lets you verify that all your settings, instructions, and preferences are correctly reflected. If something looks off, go back and adjust your settings before generating.

AI Providers

Articles are generated by leading AI providers to ensure consistent, high-quality results. The system automatically selects the best available model based on your chosen quality level. You do not need to configure or manage AI providers yourself.
