Why you'll love it
Backups that run themselves
Set a schedule and forget about it. Full site, database only, or files only: every job is logged with status and size.
Your data, your destination
Send backups to Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox, Amazon S3, or any FTP/SFTP server automatically.
Browse before you restore
Open any backup like a file manager. Preview code, inspect images, explore database tables.
Military-grade protection
Every backup is encrypted with AES-256-GCM before leaving your server. Your data stays private, even in the cloud.
Restore only what you need
Pick individual files, folders, or database tables. No need to restore everything when you only need one piece.
Smaller, faster, smarter
After the first full backup, only changed files are stored. Saves space and finishes in seconds.
Automatic cleanup
Choose how many backups to keep or how long to retain them. Old copies are removed automatically.
And much more
Download, migrate, clone, compress, schedule: everything your WordPress site needs.
Explore all featuresHow it works
Install the RakuWP plugin and enable the Backup service from your dashboard. Create backups manually or set up automated schedules. Each backup is stored as a compressed archive containing your database and files. Use the visual explorer to browse backup contents, preview files, inspect database tables, and restore specific items. Configure remote FTP locations to keep offsite copies automatically. The retention system ensures old backups are cleaned up according to your plan limits.
Frequently asked questions
What is included in a backup?
A full backup includes your entire WordPress database (all tables) plus the wp-content directory (themes, plugins, uploads, and other files). You can also create database-only backups if you only need to protect your data and settings.
Can I restore individual files or tables?
Yes. The visual file explorer lets you browse the contents of any backup. You can select specific database tables or individual files and folders to restore, without having to restore the entire backup.
How does remote storage work?
You can configure FTP or SFTP remote locations from your panel. After each backup, a copy is automatically uploaded to your remote server. This gives you an offsite copy in case your hosting server fails or is compromised.
