Who is responsible
This website and the RakuWP service are operated by Umai Media, S.L., VAT number ESB26634485, registered at Calle San Gerardo 50, 28035 Madrid (Spain). You can reach us through our contact page.
1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently and to provide information to site owners. At RakuWP, we only use cookies that are strictly necessary for our platform to function. We do not use advertising, analytics, or tracking cookies.
2. Cookies We Use
The following cookies are set by our services:
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
rakuwp_session | Keeps your session on the website (language routing and form protection). Strictly necessary. | 2 hours |
rakuwp_panel_session | Keeps your session in the panel (login state and CSRF protection). Strictly necessary for signing in. | 2 hours |
rakuwp_lang | Remembers the language you chose, so you are not sent back to the default on your next visit. | 1 year |
We also store your light or dark theme choice in your browser's local storage rather than in a cookie. It never leaves your device and is not sent to us.
3. Email Tracking Technologies
While not cookies, our transactional emails may contain a small invisible image (tracking pixel) and rewritten links to monitor email deliverability. These allow us to know if an email was opened or if a link was clicked. This data is used exclusively for delivery monitoring and troubleshooting (it is not used for profiling or marketing). No cookies are set by these mechanisms.
4. Simple Analytics
The Simple Analytics service module, available as part of the RakuWP plugin, does not use cookies of any kind. Visitor identification relies on a browser fingerprint hash (derived from screen size, timezone, language, and platform) rather than cookies. No tracking cookies, session cookies, or any other cookies are set by Simple Analytics on your visitors' devices.
5. Third-Party Cookies
Our payment processor, Stripe, may set cookies when you interact with the checkout or payment forms. These cookies are managed by Stripe and are subject to Stripe's Cookie Policy. We do not control these cookies.
6. Managing Cookies
Since we only use essential cookies, disabling them may prevent parts of our platform from working correctly. For example, you would not be able to stay logged in to the panel.

You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies for specific sites. Consult your browser's help documentation for instructions.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this cookie policy if we introduce new features that require additional cookies. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
8. Contact
If you have questions about our use of cookies, please contact us.
