How it works

Enable the Media Center service from your dashboard. The default WordPress Media menu is replaced with the new interface. Use the sidebar to browse by folder, tag, date, or file type. Upload files via drag and drop or the upload button. Click any file to open the detail modal where you can edit metadata, crop and adjust images, compress and convert formats, and manage tags and folder assignments. Right-click folders, tags, or files for quick actions.

Frequently asked questions

Does Media Center replace the default WordPress Media Library?

Yes. Once enabled, the default Media menu in WordPress admin is replaced with the Media Center interface. All your existing files remain accessible and you can start organizing them with folders and tags right away.

Which image formats can I convert to?

You can convert to WebP or AVIF, depending on your server capabilities. The Media Center detects which formats your server supports and hides unavailable options automatically.

Can I edit images directly in the browser?

Yes. The built-in editor lets you crop, adjust brightness, contrast, exposure, highlights, shadows, saturation, and vibrance, apply filters, and flip or rotate images. All changes are previewed in real time and applied server-side when you save.
