Account and Login FAQ

Common questions about accounts, passwords, passkeys, and Google sign-in.

I forgot my password. How do I reset it?

Click Forgot Password on the login page. Enter your email and you will receive a reset link. Click the link and set a new password. The reset link is single-use and expires after a limited time.

Can I change my email address?

No, your email address cannot be changed after registration. If you need to use a different email, create a new account.

What is a passkey?

A passkey is a modern, passwordless login method based on the WebAuthn standard. Instead of typing a password, you authenticate using your device's biometrics (fingerprint, face recognition) or a hardware security key. Passkeys are more secure than passwords because they cannot be phished or stolen.

Can I use both a password and passkeys?

Yes! You can have a password and multiple passkeys at the same time. On the login page, you can choose which method to use. You must always keep at least one active login method.

I signed up with Google. Can I also set a password?

Yes. Go to Profile → Password and set a new password. Since you don't have a current password, you only need to fill in the new password and confirmation.

Can I unlink my Google account?

Yes, but only if you have a password or passkey set as an alternative login method. Go to Profile and click Unlink Google Account.

Why was I logged out?

Sessions have a limited lifetime and will expire after a period of inactivity. You may also be logged out if an administrator closed your sessions or if you used the "Close All Sessions" feature from another device.
