Installing the Plugin

Step-by-step guide to download, install, and activate the RakuWP plugin on your WordPress site.

Download the Plugin

Log in to your RakuWP panel and go to the Dashboard. If you have not dismissed the onboarding section, you will see a download button for the latest plugin release. You can also find it in the Releases section.

Upload to WordPress

  1. Go to your WordPress admin area
  2. Navigate to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin
  3. Click Choose File and select the downloaded ZIP file
  4. Click Install Now
  5. After installation, click Activate

Connect to Your Panel

Once activated, the plugin will prompt you to enter your license key. You can find your license key on the Licenses page in your panel. Copy the key and paste it into the plugin settings.

Verify the Connection

After entering your license key, the plugin will validate it against the panel server. If successful, you will see a green status indicator confirming the connection. Your site's WordPress version, PHP version, and plugin version will be reported to the panel.

Troubleshooting

  • Connection failed: Ensure your server can make outbound HTTPS requests and your firewall is not blocking the connection.
  • Invalid license key: Double-check the key for typos. Ensure the license is active and not expired.
  • Site not registered: Make sure you have added your site URL in the panel before activating the license.
