SEO and Analytics: they’re here

Take a look at our two new major modules, available starting today in all our plans.

SEO and Analytics: they’re here

Today we’re launching the second major version of RakuWP, bringing in two of the core features you’ve all been waiting for: SEO and Analytics.

Let’s start with the latter, with the plugin that already launches in its most complete form. As we mentioned in our roadmap, our intention has always been to offer dual analytics support in RakuWP.

On the one hand, we’re still working on a plugin that uses GA4 data collection to present information in a less chaotic and far more useful way. This part is still in development and will be released soon. It is a more complex solution, since it will require consent management to comply with GDPR, and the depth and reliability of the data will also depend on what Google continues to allow through its free API.

The other version, developed by us ad hoc, is already online and is much simpler and more powerful than you might imagine. It is extremely lightweight and very easy to install: all you need to do is activate a switch inside the plugin, just like with the rest of the services. That inserts our small JavaScript code into your site and allows data collection to begin immediately. On top of that, the entire system works without cookies, which means it complies with data protection regulations without requiring any additional configuration.

The dashboard is really two tools in one: on the one hand, a live view with data from the latest day, and on the other, aggregated data across different time ranges. We also offer one of the most advanced and intuitive filtering systems on the market, making the overall experience genuinely enjoyable to use.

As with other analytics services, we bill by events, but we do it in a simple and transparent way: one page view = one event, scroll included. We also provide the option to monitor other types of events, which you can enable very easily from the control panel.

Although bot traffic is not counted toward monthly quotas, it is still measured and displayed in the dashboard. We currently track more than 285 bots, grouped into categories, and we will continue improving our detection systems over time.

On the SEO side, we are launching with around 50% of the features we ultimately plan to include. This first phase includes an easy connection to Google and Bing webmaster consoles, as well as the ability to customize meta descriptions and schemas on pages, from the most general settings down to the most granular level. As always, everything can be edited either from within the plugin itself or remotely from the dashboard, allowing you to work across multiple WordPress sites from a single interface.

Finally, this second version introduces the RakuWP Insights bar, which can be customized to appear directly on WordPress pages. You’ll have complete visibility into both the data and plugin controls at a granular, page-by-page level: from purging the cache of a specific URL to analyzing Search Console data for that page, all the way to restoring a specific image from a backup without even having to look for the backup itself — simply open the page and click the right button.
